Dana Sanders an SSDI RepresentativeWorking here is an absolute pleasure! Mr. Armstrong helped my husband get his disability benefits and now I get to pay it forward by being part of a team of wonderful people in helping others to obtain their disability benefits.

Tomara Gorham

Tamara Gorham SSDI and SSI Attorney Albuquerque

I have worked for Michael Armstrong Law Office, LLC for almost five years now. When I first came to Albuquerque, New Mexico after receiving my bachelor’s in criminal justice my thought process was that I would work as a legal assistant, gain experience in the legal field and at some point, continue my education. However, the longer I worked here, the more I realized that this was a position that I took pride in and was meant to do. I have now transitioned from a legal assistant to a paralegal for the firm and it’s something I take pride in. I work side-by-side with the attorneys here to ensure that our clients get the best representation they deserve. For me this has truly been a prestigious and significant experience and I am proud to say that I am now continuing my education for my master’s in legal studies.

Jordan Runyan

Jordan An SSDI AdvocateAfter finishing school, my goal was to work at a place where I could feel useful, productive, and like I was making a difference. I never expected that place to be a Social Security law firm, which just goes to show that sometimes the thing you least expected is exactly what you were looking for. I’m very proud of the work I do here, and I’m grateful to be in a position in which I can help to facilitate positive change in the lives of others.

Sheryl Rae

As a child, I got upset when I saw kids my age mistreating those with mental or physical disabilities. I would deliberately befriend the ill-treated ones because I felt everyone deserves to be treated with kindness.

Now, I am part of a great team of nonjudgmental people who have a passion for helping those who experience physical or mental challenges. I do my best to advocate for the needs of our clients in whatever way possible. I enjoy being a voice or smile (or shoulder, if needed) to bring peace, comfort, and even a bit of laughter to those who need it.

Outside of work, I serve in various capacities in my Spiritual Community, do graphic art, and spend time with my children and grandchildren. I enjoy writing, playing, and singing music, and crocheting. As time permits, I am working on non-fiction books for publication. I like to walk in the bosque or the foothills and can easily be enticed into a movie.

Giselle Espinosa

After completing school, I was given the opportunity to work for Armstrong Johnson Law. Working here has given me a completely different perspective on Social Security Disability, and I enjoy being able to help those who need it. I one day aspire to become an attorney myself and hope to be able to continue helping others.

Allegra Velazquez

As a writer, I enjoy finding new ways to put my skills and imagination to use. Working for a Social Security law firm has introduced me to a different side of writing, and it has been both fascinating and rewarding to learn the process. I am very thankful to be part of such a wonderful team and to have my own role in helping other people.

Emily Harris

My goal has always been to work at a job where I felt I was making a difference. After completing my bachelor’s in English, I was excited to join this team as a legal writer and do just that. I’m so proud of the work I do and the amazing team I work with.
