I have been a part of the Michael Armstrong Law team since 2017. In 2019, I purchased the Firm from our founder, Michael Armstrong, who retired after 30 years of exceptional Social Security disability advocacy. Likewise, I have over 30 years of advocacy experience, particularly in the areas of intellectual and developmental disabilities. In law school, I received the Award Recognizing Excellence in International Law and Comparative Law, upon highlighting the need for international disability advocacy after performing relief work for impoverished communities in Uganda, Africa. Prior to joining the Firm, I interned with the Arc’s National Center on Criminal Justice and Disability, working on initiatives to assist the disabled who found themselves caught within the criminal justice system. I currently serve on the board of the Committee on Women and the Legal Profession, promoting systemic changes and opportunities in advancing the role of women in the legal profession. My ongoing passion involves continuing to assist the most marginalized individuals in our community, as well as inspire other disability advocates to invest in this vital work.
